October 2026 Blog Post: Better Than The Book's Artificial Ignorance Part 2 and Jabun's The Finals singles announced for November (+ art reveals and Early Access), Exclusive Downloads for Jabun's Lost Tracks Vol 1 & 2 (coming throughout October) + more!

Hi everyone, and hope you've had a great month and start to autumn! It's been a super busy month trying to wrap up as many projects as possible before the end of the year, and man oh man do I have a lot of new music to share with you today! This one's gonna be a big post, let's get to it!

First of all Better Than The Book and Jabun's new singles from the Newgrounds Underdogs Audio contest 2026 are ready for release and scheduled to go out in November! Check out the artworks below:

Better Than The Book's Artificial Ignorance Part 2 will be released on November 6th and includes 4 tracks, the regular (explicit) version, censored Radio Edit, and instrumentals for both versions! Jabun's The Finals will be released a week later on November 13th and includes 2 tracks, the vocal and the instrumental version! Early access has now been granted to the $10 Patreon supporters here:

And all the $1+ patrons have the full-sized high resolution album artwork in their rewards this month (see the end of this post)! I hope you enjoy all the new music, and while you wait for the singles' official release you can explore the Artificial Ignorance Part 2 radio edit and The Finals vocal version over on Newgrounds!

Next in the news and music for this month, I'm super happy to announce that Jabun - Lost Tracks Vol. 2 is complete and will be released over the course of October! Vol. 2 contains 8 more revisited and previously unreleased works from various projects over 2019-2025 (and more), and will be released only on YouTube and Newgrounds with exclusive downloads on Patreon (for now at least)! New tracks will be coming online on Sundays and Thursdays throughout October, but you can pick it all up now on Patreon in this month's rewards for as little as $1! The Lost Tracks download pack contains both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (for ease of keeping it all together) so that's 16 Jabun tracks in total! Grab that via the reward links at the end of this post and here's the updated tracklist:

Lastly for this post, a little round up of project updates and celebrations! Last month's Summer Will Be What We Make Of It single by Better Than The Book has finally been approved for worldwide distribution and will be arriving in all the usual online places soon. Not only that, but the track was featured on Beefy's Ska Club Podcast / Radio Show! Thanks so much to Beefy for sharing the music and all the support for Better Than The Book over the years! Go check out the replay of the show over here (it's a ska packed joy as always)!

That about wraps things up for this post! It's looking to be a busy month ahead preparing for these 2 single releases while Jabun's Lost Tracks Vol. 2 is released but it's also October which means I may be throwing a beat or 2 Cyberdevil's way if he's up to his usual INKtober antics! We shall see. On the other backburner I still have Better Than The Book's Ten Years On Live album to finish polishing and get mastered so we'll see how I get along with that too if there's time! Until the next one, I hope you enjoy all the new music and thanks as always for supporting Better Than The Book, Jabun and my various projects however you can! Take care and all the best!
