Greetings and great news! The new Lights Camera Attraction! EP "From The Ground Up" is out! I helped write 3 of the songs, played bass, did some backing vocals (and screaming), and recorded, produced, mixed and mastered the project from start to finish, with a little help from our friend Tom to mic up and capture the drums. Big thanks to the guys in LCA for a whale of a time: Ben Palmer: Lead vocals Andy Forman: Guitar and backing vocals Myself: Bass, backing vocals and production Lee Bryant: Drums And good old Sam Brown from before I joined who helped write "Re:Inventions" and "Hijack of Hearts". I'm honoured to have been able to hold the bass baton for you! I'm really gonna miss making music with you guys and wish you the best of luck in the future. "From The Ground Up" is available for download on Bandcamp: In other news, the first glimpse of a new game from the creator of SKYREEF is up in the form of the menu music, which was a blast to compose this week! It still needs a final check over once the rest of the soundtrack is complete, but it's pretty much ready to rock and I hope you enjoy this demo version in the mean time. More details to be announced about the game soon, but it looks like next week I'll be starting on the first level's soundtrack. In the mean time, here's some ambient menu music to enjoy: Lastly, the new Hip Hop track with Cyberdevil is just about done! Just discussion on the admin/release and the final master to be set in stone. It's always a blast working with him and it's great to be doing Hip Hop again! We hope to release it next week.
I hope to be updating the site next week with the new material, but I'm still waiting for certain things to be set up first. I'll make a list of updates (and pending updates) in the next blog post which will be early this week as I'm away for the weekend. Until next time! Jabun

It's been a busy week working on a new Hip-Hop track with Cyberdevil as well as other stuff. There's still a little more arrangement and recording to do (as well as mixing and mastering of course), but I hope to have it all done by the end of next week once Cyberdevil gets back from his excursion up north. It's less nu-metal than last time, though it's sounding schweet nonetheless. It's been too long since I made some Hip-Hop!
In other news, I've got wind that the new Lights, Camera, Attraction! EP is on its way (though I don't have an ETA yet). Also some exciting news! On top of my current animation team, I've been in contacts with a very talented Danish animator by the name of Sif Perlt Savery AKA "Hikarian". She's currently animating the first episode of "Tales of Zale" an awesome sounding story summerised by the writer herself as follows: """ Tales of Zale is the story of a young, curious fox named Zale, and his best friend, the barn owl Elva. Together they explore the mysteries of a world in which the humans are long gone, and all that is left are the ruins of their creations. Along the way they’ll meet many other animals, some with good intentions and others not so much. In the end, will Zale be able to find the answers he seek and solve the mysteries of the forest he lives in? The series will consist of 5 minute-episodes, and though 10 episodes have been planned all in all the focus is currently just on creating the first two, which will be uploaded to YouTube and Newgrounds.com. """ I'm down as the mixing/mastering engineer for the animation which is due to be released around the beginning of December. I've already heard some of the voices and it's safe to say, it's gonna be awesome! Show Sif your support on Newgrounds, Youtube and her own website, and check out her other videos! You will not be disappointed! Finally, I've been in talks with the creator of Skyreef about doing the soundtrack for a smaller video-game project. I've been set one piece to compose so far though the full soundtrack should be around 12 minutes long (lotsa 1-2 minute loops!). I got to play a pre-alpha at the beginning of the week which was really cool (and DIFFICULT!). More news on this project later :3 That's all for this week. Stay tuned every Saturday for more updates and or blasts from the past! Jabun Audio is now up and running and accepting commissions! Ove the last 2 weeks, I've been hard at work getting everything sorted for the grand opening of Jabun Audio. It's been a lot of late and sleepless nights, but I think it was worth it! I'd like to welcome everyone to Jabun Audio and say I'm ready to accept commissions for work now and look forward to working with you all. Feel free to message me and I'll do my best to lend my ears! In other news, this week was the first time in 9 months for me to hear from an old collaborative partner Cyberdevil, a smooth rapper from Sweden. Here's a track we made last year together: It's free to download too! I'll close by saying a big thanks to all the people who helped me get this far with my music and helped me get this started as a business. There's a lot of you out there and you're awesome!
So feel free to browse the Jabun Audio site, investigate my social media and spread the word! I look forward to helping you with your projects! Take care and thanks everyone! Nick AKA |
