Some Disruption, Web Updates, an Awesome video from World Beyond "Ex Machina" and other news!1/10/2015 This week has been a little disrupted as the house is having a lot of the inside doors replaced (including the door to my studio), which means there's been a fair amount of noise for most of the week and I've had to move to the kitchen to work during the construction. As such, there's not been a lot of opportunity for audio work, but I've been able to make some progress during the evenings, and the days have been appropriate for web updates, marketing and work such as this blog. Still a few updates to tell though, so I figured I'd share them early since I can't get stuck in with mixing/mastering right now (good opportunity for composition though :D) Lets get started! First thing on this weeks list: I don't know why it's taken so long, but I'm delighted to finally introduce Anthony G. Houde to the JabunAudio partners page! For those of you who don't know, Anthony is the amazing mastermind behind Fun Station 4 Kids and voice of our beloved T-Rex. I've been working with Anthony for... gosh, over 2 years now, so it's about time he get some dedicated space on this website! Check out Fun Station 4 Kids on YouTube, and visit Anthony's website to find out more about his work. You will not be disappointed! Next, I'd like to share an awesome video that Vlad from World Beyond released this week featuring one of his latest compositions "Ex Machina"! The music is a tribute to PACIFIC RIM, featuring footage from the film in the excellently put together video! You can purchase the track from Bandcamp if you so desire! Here's the YouTube Vid below too! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Excellent job, Vlad! Next on this week, I've been working on a new short track for A P O T H E O S I S in preparation for the release of the game's trailer! First draft of the composition is done (It's sort of a remix of everything so far, but more trailery), so just awaiting feedback on that before mixing and mastering time :D Hope to have it out soon!
Last of this weeks events, though it's kind of a non-update: No progress on Better Than The Book this week as we've run into some problems with Bob's recording equipment, which means recording on his end for track 07 is currently at a standstill until we're able to fix it... (+ I've been unable to record vocals due to the construction work on my end). I'm going to try to work on some of the "in the box" elements of the track while we sort out the recording problems, but hopefully we'll be back on track soon. One more thing! I've been thinking about getting back into YouTube and trying to up my social media reach. Is there anything that people would like to see from my channels or social media feeds? Suggestions appreciated, or I'll just go my own way and see what happens XD That's it for this week! Hopefully I'll have more news next week and even something to show :D Until then. Thanks for supporting JabunAudio and hope you all have good weeks! Take care :D

Pretty awesome musical tribute for a pretty awesome movie! Pompous; powerful. That Hollywood take on the whole Gundam phenomena... I was surprised to see!

I guess it was only a matter of time before Hollywood clicked onto mechas. I'm kinda surprised they hadn't done it sooner tbh XD

Haha true. Asians are still pioneering so many awesome forms of modern media entertainment; Hollywood continually trying to catch up. :) Just look at anime! Though, there's still just the ONE Hollywood Gundam movie... it's been a while, no sequels or spin-off's or similars...

Anime is pretty darn awesome! :D Japan is also very influential in the music industry, especially all the synths they design and make!
