Week 4 out of 8 of the acoustic cover songs: "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield, two years on since Two Years On, some Better Than The Book album updates + more!

Hello again, and it's been yet another busy week here at JabunAudio, mainly working on the A P O T H E O S I S soundtrack (which is going smoothly), as well as some more stuff for the upcoming Better Than The Book album (more on that in a moment). Despite the busy times though, there's not a whole lot to report this week compared to the last few posts, but here are some nice things to share nonetheless. Let's get straight to it!

First in the news for this post, it's week 4 of the acoustic cover songs dedicated to my parents, and it's finally time to share some blazing guitar solos and 4 part vocal harmony from the 60's classic, "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield. This track is one I've been playing for years, and doing it justice when recording was a special kind of challenge. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out though! I hope you enjoy it and tune in next week for some acoustic ska punk, "The Impression That I Get" by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Happy listening! 

​Next this week we take a look back to achievements of the past. This week two years ago, on the 6th of February 2016, I released my debut album "Two Years On" as Better Than The Book! A year later I released "Two Years On [Instrumentals]" to celebrate the album's first anniversary, and today the upcoming follow-up album is in pre-production in the studio ready to start recording imminently. To the listeners, interviewers, radio DJs, media makers who've shared my music in their games and videos, people who keep asking when my next american tour will be, the heartfelt message senders, and my friends/family and loved ones, thank you for all the support over the last 2 years! I never thought this album would have reached out so far across the globe from the tiny bedroom studio it was made in. All the Better Than The Book original music is available on bandcamp here and if you've yet to hear it, I hope you enjoy it! Looking forward to kicking ass with the next album and I can't wait to share it this summer! And moving on from that, we come to the last piece of news this week, some updates on the upcoming Better Than The Book album! Progress is going well and as of today 6 out of 10 drum tracks are planned out ready for recording! Just 4 left to go which should hopefully be done by the end of next week, then it's just servicing guitars to do before we finally hit the big red button and start recording! I'm super excited to get stuck in with recording this album, but I've gotta make sure to do all of this necessary groundwork to ensure the smoothest production process. Looking forward to sharing more updates with you when I can and hope you're as excited as I am to hear the follow-up to Two Years On!
